Indian Navy Commissions Malvan Submarine Hunter Amid Rising Threats

The Indian Navy has commissioned the anti-submarine warfare vessel Malvan to enhance its fleet. This new addition is part of a series of eight Mahe-class vessels being built domestically to counter increasing submarine activities from China and Pakistan. The navy aims to induct a total of eighteen vessels this year, focusing on specialized ships designed for shallow water operations.
